Tyler Kovarik, CCM

Tyler serves as the Vice President of our Florida operations and has experience managing all types of projects ranging in size from $100,000 to $25 Million. His projects include both new, out-of-the ground projects and interior demolitions and renovations. Tyler has worked in a number of industries including healthcare, senior living, commercial, retail,  and industrial.

During his tenure in the construction industry, he has managed and completed all aspects of the estimation and construction process, often beginning with design, or post-design phase, through close-out. Tyler is detailed and thorough in his work on project cost analysis and budgeting; his approach pro-actively reduces the necessity for change orders, and when necessary, is an effective problem solver during the construction phase.

Along with his operational role, he remains an active Project Manager, managing large, pivotal projects which require significant expertise and executive level oversight. He manages operational and project-related duties simultaneously.

Tyler’s insights into the daily operation of our business, and those of our clients, are highly valued and relied upon; his leadership abilities are paramount to the success of our teams.

As a result of his professional manner in conducting business, Schaefer continues to enjoy invitations to work with our list of established, satisfied clients, as well as new clients here in Tampa.

Tyler likes to spend his free time with his family and working in the garage. They enjoy camping, hiking, movies, swimming, and going to car shows. Tyler enjoys the restoration and customization of classic and vintage cars and pickups, especially “International Harvester” brand vehicles.  In addition to vintage cars, Tyler also enjoys aviation and is a licensed pilot.
