Tony Laskey

Tony brings more than 20 years of construction experience to Schaefer General Contracting, with a career built from the field up. He began in carpentry and assistant superintendent roles, developing a strong understanding of site operations before advancing into estimating, superintendent, and ultimately project management positions.

Throughout his career, Tony has delivered projects across the southern United States, spanning secondary education, faith-based, and both public- and private-sector commercial work. His background in design-build delivery allows him to collaborate seamlessly with design and engineering partners, helping align teams early and drive informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Detail-oriented and solutions-focused, Tony is intentional about assembling strong project teams and developing realistic schedules and budgets in partnership with owners. He leads with a commitment to safety, compliance, performance, and transparent reporting—providing the structure and oversight needed to keep projects moving forward with confidence.
