Michael Huber
Assistant Superintendent
Michael’s construction career began with Schaefer General Contracting, where he joined the team as an intern during his senior year of college. That experience provided an opportunity to learn the industry firsthand and ultimately led to his current role as Assistant Superintendent.
In the field, Michael has developed a particular strength in reading construction plans and translating that information into clear direction for trade partners. He understands that keeping a project moving often comes down to making sure people have the right information and resources when they need them. Whether that means tracking down an answer for a client or gathering materials for a trade partner, Michael is ready to step in and help.
Persistence and determination are qualities that define his approach to the job. Michael is eager to continue learning and isn’t afraid to keep asking questions or searching for solutions until he finds what’s needed. As he continues building his career at Schaefer, Michael is focused on becoming a well-rounded field leader and making a meaningful impact on every project he touches. His goal is to help create jobsites where everyone has what they need to be productive, work effectively, and feel confident in the team around them.
