Joe Plomin

Joe joined the Schaefer team in late 2020, bringing with him nearly 30 years of construction experience, including 25 years as a Project Manager. Specializing in commercial tenant construction across various industries such as healthcare, automotive, retail, public, and institutional sectors, Joe has developed a comprehensive expertise that sets him apart.

Before joining Schaefer, Joe was a Project Manager for a prominent local construction firm, where he was responsible for overseeing healthcare client projects. His previous roles include serving as a Senior Project Manager for two major commercial construction firms in the Washington DC and Baltimore metropolitan areas.

Joe’s extensive portfolio includes new construction, complete and partial demolition, build-outs, and renovations, with project values ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to $31 million.

Joe has a strong understanding of renovation and remodels, which have been a central focus throughout his career. His broad range of experience across different regions and project types makes him an exceptional Project Manager capable of leading any team.
