Jonny Rivera

Jonny’s construction career began at 18 years old as a helper on a concrete crew. Over the next 13 years, he built his experience in the field, expanded his knowledge across multiple trades, and developed the leadership skills that ultimately led him to his role as a Superintendent with Schaefer General Contracting.

That hands-on background shapes the way Jonny approaches every jobsite. In addition to his construction experience, he has worked in both the electrical and plumbing fields, giving him a broader understanding of how different systems and trades come together throughout a project. That knowledge is especially valuable when challenges arise and a practical solution is needed to keep work moving forward.

Client communication and problem-solving are among Jonny’s greatest strengths. He approaches challenges by focusing on the best possible solution and outcome while keeping clients, trade partners, and team members informed along the way. His goal is to provide answers, create clarity, and help ensure everyone on site understands what needs to happen next.

As a leader, Jonny believes confidence is built through action. He leads by example, brings a hands-on perspective to the field, and takes pride in being someone his team can look to for direction when challenges arise.
