John Magallanez

John brings eight years of experience in the door industry to the Schaefer team. Originally born and raised in California, He began his career as an apprentice at a small, two-truck operation and worked his way up to a supervisor as the company grew to eight trucks and secured contracts with major national clients, including CarMax and Home Depot. Seeking a change of scenery and the opportunity to be closer to his wife’s family, John relocated to Kentucky, where he found his way to Schaefer and quickly became a valued part of the team.

John’s strongest skills are troubleshooting and communication. He’s known for having the patience and attention to detail needed to diagnose and resolve issues others may overlook, while maintaining clear, professional communication with both customers and coworkers. Quality of work is always his top priority.

He approaches every job with a strong work ethic, showing up early and staying as long as needed to ensure work is completed correctly and on time, whether responding to emergencies or executing planned projects. This mindset has consistently earned him positive feedback from clients and teammates alike.

John brings a positive, approachable presence to the jobsite. He values building strong relationships, keeping morale high, and creating an environment where people enjoy working together. As a mentor, he takes pride in teaching the trade and developing others, while also holding teams accountable to maintain high standards of workmanship.
