The West

In collaboration with a local architect and Texas-based developer, Schaefer delivered construction for The West, a striking, open-concept, state-of-the-art office building.

At three stories, this Class-A office space totals approximately 73,000 SF and takes on several innovative and modern touches that meet the needs of today’s workplace. The equitable design approach makes the building accessible, safe, and healthy for all occupants. The user-forward design approach emphasizes a proactive commitment to prioritizing the experience and well-being of the occupants in the space.

Responsive to the disruptions fueled by the pandemic, this space was designed with flexibility in mind to accommodate a variety of tenants. Emphasizing a “healthy workplace” model, it prepares for potential economic, climate, or health disruptions through features like private tenant entrances, enhanced ventilation and filtration, semi-private outdoor courtyards, and hands-free smart technology to promote a hands-free workplace.

The building’s stunning interior architectural design captures natural daylight and 270-degree views with floor-to-ceiling glass, providing every tenant with views of the exterior, ensuring a bright, adaptable environment that meets modern workplace needs.
