Swiss Village & Swiss Hall
The roughly 12,000-square-foot Swiss Hall building was constructed in the 1920s and has a rich history, which the Owner sought to preserve. The space used to be a community center for Swiss immigrants to host parties, dinners and other events. At one point in time, the building featured a boxing ring and bowling alley.
To keep the history of Swiss Hall alive, the project entailed the excavation of the original building with the addition of a floor to the top. The building is now home to 2-bedroom apartments.
The project involved converting the former Swiss Hall building into 18 studio or two-bedroom units. Constructed on the 2.6 acres around the apartment complex is 23 brand new two-bedroom houses.
