Spalding University | Kosair for Kids School of Physical Therapy

This 24,000 SF building on the campus of Spalding University was renovated from the inside out to serve as their new accredited Physical Therapy School. Once occupied by an automotive dealer, there was significant demolition and renovation work to be done. With all new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems included in the scope of the project, lots of attention to detail was required of our team.

Throughout the space, luxury vinyl flooring was installed, as well as new paint and custom LED light fixtures. Several classrooms, break rooms, restrooms, and teaching labs were established, including a high-end cadaver preservation facility with an energy recovery system. The project finished with a new parking lot and exterior landscaping. Spalding’s Physical Therapy program opened its doors in the Fall of 2023 to its first class of 48 applicants.
