Montessori Kid’s University

Recently completed, Schaefer delivered the ground-up construction of a 10,777 SF Kids Universe Montessori School. Designed to create a dynamic early childhood learning environment, the facility features nine age-specific classrooms for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, each equipped with wet kitchens, built-in storage, and unisex bathrooms. A welcoming covered vestibule leads into a bright and functional lobby with a reception area, while dedicated operational spaces include a warming kitchen, car seat storage, and secure storage closets.

Administrative and staff areas feature offices for the Director and Assistant Director, a meeting room, and a break room to support daily operations. The exterior of the school is thoughtfully designed with landscaping and a fully enclosed, well-equipped playground. To meet the franchisee’s timeline, Schaefer strategically initiated at-risk site clearing, grading, and drainage while financing was finalized, allowing the school to open enrollment on time and begin the academic year at full capacity.

Delivered under a design-build approach, this $4.2 million project reflects Schaefer’s commitment to quality craftsmanship, efficient project management, and cost-effective solutions for institutional clients.
