Louisville Visitors Center

This 2,950-square-foot transformation reimagines the traditional visitor information center, blending cutting-edge technology with engaging design to offer an immersive, interactive experience. Far more than just a place to gather information, the center is a dynamic hub that captures the essence of Louisville in an innovative and memorable way.

The space features a striking floating “cloud” installation, showcasing various pronunciations of “Louisville,” along with self-serve digital kiosks where visitors can create and send personalized electronic postcards to friends and family. With multiple agencies, organizations, and stakeholders involved, Schaefer’s Project Manager, Chuck Rassenfoss, ensured seamless coordination by leading weekly status meetings to keep all parties aligned, resolve challenges, and maintain momentum. Through careful planning and precise execution, the project was completed on time and within budget, demonstrating Schaefer’s unwavering commitment to excellence.
