Helmwood Healthcare Center

This 15,000 sf Design Build project consists of creating 17-Personal Care Units by renovating the lower level of the existing center. The new single occupancy living spaces focus on creating an environment that is home-like for the residents. Each private room will contain a private bathroom, ample storage, and a compact counter area with cabinets and drawers, sink, and small refrigerator for personal food and drink items.

Additionally a new common area for dining and visiting, with comfortable seating areas, dining tables, and an open kitchen – all designed to encourage residents to engage with other residents was created.

A new wellness center, and separate “family room” where family members can gather with privacy was also part of the scope of work.
