This ground-up 37,500 SF, 42-bed assisted living facility was designed and constructed adjacent to the client’s existing skilled nursing facility, creating a seamless continuum of care for residents living in the community. Delivered through an integrated approach, Schaefer collaborated closely with the architect and owner to ensure alignment in vision, functionality, and execution.

The facility features sophisticated amenities and thoughtfully designed social spaces, including an expansive lounge, entertainment areas, a theater, a formal dining room, a parlor, and a library. Beautifully landscaped courtyards provide residents with a tranquil outdoor retreat while ensuring safety within the facility boundaries. Every detail was carefully considered to enhance residents’ comfort, engagement, and overall well-being.
