During Women in Construction Week (WIC Week), we’re proud to recognize the leaders, builders, problem-solvers, and innovators who strengthen our teams and shape our industry. From the field to the office, their expertise, resilience, and dedication continue to raise the standard for what’s possible in construction.

Celebrated each year during the first week of March, WIC Week aims to amplify the contributions of women across the industry, raise awareness of the many career opportunities available, and inspire the next generation of builders and leaders. 

This year’s theme, “Level Up. Build Strong.”, as championed by the National Association of Women in Construction, focused on career growth, professional development, and strengthening the communities we build. It’s a reminder that when we invest in people, we elevate the entire industry.

At Schaefer, Building Confidence means creating opportunities, championing growth, and fostering an environment where women can lead, thrive, and make a lasting impact.

To close out the week, our Tampa office hosted a special Straight Up with Schaefer: WIC Edition, bringing together an incredible group of women representing different specialties and domains across the industry.

Straight Up with Schaefer is about opening our doors to the partners who help make our work possible. No formal agenda—just honest conversation, shared perspectives, and meaningful connection.
