Value Engineering

Value Engineering

Value engineering is simple ... and something we strive to do whenever possible. When we look at a set of plans, or are in discussions with an Owner or Architect, we're always looking for ways to improve the design, shorten the timeline and save our clients' money. We're not talking about a total re-design, but rather small, measurable things we can suggest ... resulting from our decades of experience.

Because we've performed work all across the United States on so many different types of projects, we have an impressive level of experience with a wide variety of building types and materials. We're the ones out there actually building the structures and performing the work, we've seen a lot, we know what works, we know the best products and the best materials ... in short, we've learned a lot of effective methodologies over the years, which are quite effective and cost conscious. All of this enables us to bring forth new and innovative ideas which have a direct and positive impact on the performance and cost of the building. Naturally, we love the chance to recommend these things when we see how they could reduce costs yet still keep intact the design intent for the building.

It's ALWAYS our primary goal to get involved as early in the process as possible to allow us the opportunity to do this for each and every client, so we can identify the most cost-effective means of accomplishing our client's objectives.

And, we don't just stop in the early design phase of the project. Our Project Managers continually provide value-engineering services throughout the life of the project.
